1.3. Walking the Black Hole

(Location: Moat Path, Imperial Palace Outer Gardens)

Description:
Juna walks slowly, the radio to her ear, tuned to Kip Thorne’s *The Black Hole*. The voices describe theoretical physicists, warped time, and solar entities — all set against the shifting foliage of Tokyo’s Imperial Palace. The palace itself, she realizes, is a metaphorical void: a black hole at the center of the city, swallowing chronology. Judai follows a few steps behind, marking the orbital path around the palace perimeter in his notebook. Tourists pass unaware, but Judai and Juna see gravitational lensing in the curve of the walls, and flashes of time distortion where the sun hits water. The walk becomes a loop, each step resonant with orbital echoes.

Keywords:
##Kip Thorne broadcast
##Tokyo black hole
##orbital walking loop
##Imperial metaphor
##distorted chronology

Very Short Story:
Juna stopped often, rewinding the radio to hear phrases again: “temporal inversion,” “event horizon.” She looked at the water and saw double reflections. Judai adjusted the page: 10:27 a.m., southeast quadrant, sun glare inversion confirmed. The palace, neither hostile nor friendly, seemed to listen. In the moat’s stillness, the voice said: “You are now approaching the singularity.” But there was no acceleration, only walking. The time distortion wasn’t speed — it was memory shifting its order.
