11.15. The Observatory That Remembered Too Much

(Location: Ridge Battery Omega, Hidden Station Above Karuizawa)

Description:
Built during the late 1920s as a covert relay post, Battery Omega now lies buried beneath vines and dirt. The entrance tunnel, half collapsed, led Judai and Juna into a damp chamber lined with steel racks and dry coils. In the center: a viewing tube pointing skyward through a cracked lens. The moment Juna peered inside, images raced past—buildings she’d never visited, arguments she hadn’t had, sounds in languages she hadn’t learned. “This is not seeing,” she said. “This is remembering in another key.” Judai tried next and emerged weeping. “I just met my brother,” he said. “He never existed.”

Keywords:
##overloaded recall observatory
##temporal collapse viewer
##battery omega sky tunnel
##synthetic memory scope
##retrocausal encounter device

Very Short Story:
They camped nearby, too disturbed to descend. All night, wind struck the lens like a fingertip on glass. Juna dreamt of a second version of herself operating the same machine. Judai woke and saw an impression on his hand—as if something had held it gently in another life.
