(Location: Abandoned Rail Archives, Former Mitaka Civic Hub)
Description:
Between overgrown rails and concrete pillars, Juna and Judai find a collapsed depot rumored to have held the last governmental body not defined by nation but by movement. A rusted sign reads: *Railroad Statehouse – Citizenship by Destination.* Inside, rusting train schedules double as legislative records: *Bill 301: Extend Tracks into Dreamspace.* *Ordinance 9A: Derailed Realities Must Be Reintegrated.* The ticket counters list political parties by station. A single railcar remains, its seats transformed into desks. On the floor, a mosaic map shows a spiral of rails converging at “Now.” Juna walks the spiral. Judai discovers a conductor’s log titled *Votes by Arrival Time.* The building creaks as if ready to depart. Its coordinates shift on their watches.

Very Short Story:
They boarded the last railcar, though it had nowhere to go. Inside, old telegrams were pinned like laws—announcements of policies enacted only while in transit. Juna pressed a lever, and the room jolted as if remembering its role. Judai found a speaker labeled *State Anthem in Motion.* It played the sound of tracks, indistinct voices, the swell of a whistle. “The nation never stopped,” Juna said. “It just became its own schedule.” A voting booth slid past them, vanishing into the next car. They exited without arriving.
