24.23. The Gravity Ledger of Radiology Bay 3

Location: Odaka Medical Records Vault

Description:
In Radiology Bay 3, Judai finds a bound book labeled “Gravitational Misreadings – Patient Files.” Inside: charts showing unusual weight fluctuations during minor scans. Notes include: “Patient became untethered at 3:12 AM,” or “mass localized to one toe.” These were not metaphors. The scans—now brittle—show faint luminescence around the hearts. Juna flips to one labeled Entry 94. Her own childhood file. “You forgot how to fall,” the nurse had once said. But the book suggests something else: an entire generation briefly immune to gravity’s certainty. What happened to those bodies now?

Keywords:
gravitational medical anomaly, patient levitation, radiology misreadings, childhood unweighting, Odaka file 94

Very Short Story:
The lights dimmed when Juna touched her record. Judai stood behind her, silent. “This says I floated,” she said. “Only once. For seven minutes.” The radiograph shimmered faintly in the scanner’s cold light. “Maybe that’s when you began seeing differently,” Judai offered. She closed the book. “No,” she replied. “That’s when the world stopped convincing me it was stable.”
